Mohamed Sabry Medan conducted a research in Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in a trial to establish a new technique for improving fertility in goats and he succeeded (Wal Hamdo Lilah) in establishing a new technique (immunization against inhibin). The research demonstrated that using immunization against inhibin to make superovulation and improving fertility is simple and overcome the side effects of the conventional techniques that use equine chorionic gonadotropins (eCG) or human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). Briefly, immunization against inhibin resulted in formation of antibodies that combined with inhibin and as a result follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) will increase leading to superovulation. The results of this study were published in "Reproduction", "Biology of Reproduction" and "Journal of endocrinology" which are the top international journals in the field of study. |
