Meeting Between the Minister of High Education & the Scientific Research and The Egyptian Post Graduate Students (Doctor Courses) in Kyoto in Japan on 2004-11-15

Al-Hamdullellah, On 2004-11-15, The Minister of Egypt for High Eductation and Scientific Research,Prof. Amro Salama, has met the Egyptian Post Graduate Students who are studying in Japan for Doctor degree. The meeting was in Kyoto City.

Mr.Hesham Badr (The Ambassador of Egypt in Japan), Prof. Ibrahim Mabrouk (The Counselor of Egypt in Japan), Dr. Hesham Kahlil (Counselor of Ministry of Exterior) and Prof. Mosilhy Ragab (Culture Attache of Egypt in Japan) have attend the meeting.

The Minister of High Education and Scientific Research, Prof.Amro Salama gave a speech in which he conveyed the great concern of the President of Egypt, Mr.Mohamed Hosny Mobarak, as well as the new government toward the scientific research. He also mentioned to the balanced situation of Egypt toward the international actions including Iraq and Palestine.

The Minister discussed with the students about their suggestions toward improving the scientific research in Egypt according to their experiences in Japan. Moreover, The Minister gave much interest for the different problems and difficulties facing the students during their studies in Japan. Regarding the financial rules of the Egyptian Missions since 31 July 2001,and till now, the Minister emphasized that rules should not be applied to the Missions that have started before the date of that rules, but only the improvement to be applied.

Finally, The Egyptian Students Union, on behalf of all the Egyptian Post Graduate Students in Japan, are grateful for the great concern of the President of Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Hosney Mobarak, and to the Minister of High Education & the Scientific Research, Prof. Amro Salama for giving us the opportunity to have this meeting with him, in addition to, receiving all our requests that surely will have special care, In Allah welling.
