Definition
The Egyptian Student Association in Japan (ESAJ) is a national democratic and independent student organization in Japan. The ESAJ population currently exceeding 350 members and about 8 local sub-unions throughout Japan. The headquarter is located in the Egyptian Cultural Bureau, Tokyo, correspondence to the residence of the ESAJ President.
The ESAJ is supervised and sponsored by the Ministry of Education. However, the ESAJ is legally an independent entity that has full student authority over the use of its resources. The ESAJ General Assembly is the highest authority in the ESAJ according to its constitution (in arabic). The ESAJ is lead by an elected body called the Union Board.
Members are free to become members in any other organizations at their universities whose goals and activities do not conflict with those of the ESAJ. Members in such organizations represent themselves only. Membership in the ESAJ is open to all Egyptian citizens - as ruled by Egyptian Citizenship Laws - who studies or conducts scientific research in Japan as long as they accept these bylaws and pays the designated membership fees (500 JY/month).

3. Vice Head for Finantial Affairs
4. Sub-Unions Heads
Election for the new head should be done every two years, and in case of resignement of the current head. The election should be done through the union board only as stated in the union constitutions (in arabic). The elected head has to invite the union board to nominate themselves for the first and second positions (vice heads). For more information, please refer to the Union Guide Book.
